Hey all,
I'm sure some are aware, but Zac Sunderland is about to make history tomorrow by being the youngest person to solo circumnavigate. Granted he has had support from his friends and family, but has faced much adversity. His ingenuity and solid seamanship skills prevailed some harrowing moments. Please visit his web site.

He is due into Marina del Rey where he started more than a year ago tomorrow. There will be a DVD produced documenting his journey. My composition "For A While" has been donated and is being considered for some of the music that will accompany the sound track.

Zac is for some heavy competition, as Mike Perham and Jessica Watson are also vying for that title... and depending on when they finish, they may take it from him. Personally, I see Jessica’s and Zac's accomplishments as more worthy than Mike's, but that's just because Mike's father paid a sailor to prep Mike and two other sailors to prep the boat that he chartered for Mike's attempt. :)

I can't think of a better way to become a man. I don't know you Zac but I'm proud of ya.

I didn't know more people have been to space then have sailed solo around the world. Maybe one day I'll make that list.

"Zac will be pulling in to Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey at the end of Fiji Way at approximately 10:00am. There will be photo opps, speeches and some time to mingle with Zac and the family.

If you are watching from home, Fox News will have a live interview at 12:45pm and a live interview at 1:00pm with CNN. You may be able to see these online.
