Had a bumper sticker on my car that said, "A collision at sea can ruin your day." My wife was a Registered Nurse. I bought her a coffee mug that said, "Nurses call the shots." and a bumper sticker that said, "Nurses are panhandlers." Bread company in LA had on the side of their trucks, "Buy our bread, We knead the dough." Classical Music station in LA had bus ads that read, "We play the original top 40" with a picture of Beethoven next to it. My favorite bumper sticker of all time, "Custer wore arrow shirts.":D Fair Winds and Full Sails....

We have an Engineering firm here in Lynchburg VA named Proffitt and Hurt. Every time I drive by the place I think... "to bad they aren't lawyers.

There's a liquor store in Beaver Creek, Colorado named "Beaver Liquors". Story goes that the owner of the liquor store opened a scuba dive shop in the middle of the mountains just so he could call it "Beaver Divers".

I actually met the owner of Beaver Divers on the Metro North line one day a couple years ago, he was in the NYC area on work vacation, something with training firefighter rescue divers for a couple days, plus a couple days of sight seeing... nice guy!

Not even gonna go into the numerous pamphlets and books titled "servicing your winches". Or "lubing and servicing your winches". Because as we all know....................when servicing your winches...............nevermind.

When I got my big boat, my brother asked me how many winches I had on my boat. I told him I could only have ONE wench on my boat but I did have a bunch of those shiny things you wrap rope around. :) It took him ten minutes to get his breath back.

That reminds me of the guy that lost his paddles while out rowing in the lake. Lucky for him he came across another boat with a few people out enjoying the day. He yelled to the other boat, "Hey, can I borrow one of you oars?". The man rowing the other boat yelled back, "They're not me oars, they're me sisters."
