Just bought my first keel boat a 1980 hunter 30 tall mast.Does anyone know where I can get an oweners manual? Or any other info on this boat.I am new to boating and a bit lost!!!!!!!!!! HELP HELP HELP OR should I say MAYDAY MADAY MAYDAY Because the boat is in the water.Ha! Ha! Any info would help.

Magazine. Issuing a false May day is a Federal offense. Two people were recently convicted of doing just that, One fined $29,000.and two years in Federal prison. The other person paid $129,587.00 and one year in prison. Just thought you might like to know being new and all.

Get a good sailing book!
I like "Sailing for Dummies," but there are a number of good standard books. Check the chandlery here. You will find that the manual is of little use except for a few specific suggestions about the h30, and some reasonable system drawings. David Lady Lillie

Thanks for the effort JIM but there is nothing in this link you gave on Hunter 30's.Everything but look for your self.Thanks any way. If I ever get down to Virgina we can have a glass of wine and a laugh over this.

And looked agin.No 1980 H-30 manual in archives. But there were other people looking for the same thing.No leeds though.

If you send me your e-mail address I can forward a PDF file of the systems diagrams (wiring, plumbing, etc), for all (older) Hunter models. You can also buy or download a Yanmar or other engine manual for your boat. The original owners manual has a lot of generic information about routine maintenance but nothing you can't live without. Contact me at jvt@caip.rutgers.edu
