Any ideas what these little translucent plastic buttons are, or are for? Each is about the size of a nickel, and there are two rows of three each, on the port side salon ceiling. In the first pic, you can see the frame of the port fixed window. In the second pic, the aft-most portside portlight is visible.

I'll send you a PM. I was 30 once, and then 40, and then 50, and now am older.

Is there maybe something above them out on cabin deck that was "through bolted" and those are access hole plugs?

They are probably plugs that hold the ceiling to the under-deck grid. Like the plugs on cars that hold fender liners and such. Has like a (round?) spear point to poke into a receiving hole.

Escutcheons?
And I must take umbrage at your sig line. o_O
IMHO, age doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. Rudeness and crudeness appears at every age these days. I blame it on technology, and yet I have a masters in computing.

Could they have been used to hang fabric partitions?

Great idea, but they do not appear on the starboard side ceiling. I've not attempted to take one out and look at it, I was just curious.

Lets see, a Florida boat. Maybe the boat had several fishing rods mounted there and a PO took the set-up with him.

add some netting or shock cords and it looks like a perfect chart storage location....

It looks like (in the pics) there are holes in the centers of them? if there are holes in them they are plastic inserts for threading stuff, looks like they may have held up fishing rod holders, if they don't have holes in them and there isn't any deck hardware above them maybe those plugs are where someone filled voids in the deck.
