Hi folks
I have acquired a "Yeoman Compact" chart plotter & the instructions
state I need to wire it up to the GPS.
Does anyone have any experience at this as I find, even the thought of
it, quite terrifying.

Hi John

I have been using the Yeoman for many years and have the ledge in how to
connect them. Drop me an email or give me a phone call. All pretty easy,
I talked someone through this same job just last week.

Cheers

Hi Steve
I am in Wells & the boat is in Cornwall.
The GPS is a garmin 126 & I have to fit a plug to the gps & then to the Yeoman. I take it there is some way of opening the Garmin.

Hi Steve.

I have a Yeoman (pro sport I think) but not used it. I picked it up
cheap a few years ago. As the Admiralty has just released a set of
charts of my sailing area (which fit nicely on the board without folding
and with the Yeoman plot points on), I intend to put it into use.
Interfaced it to my Garmin GPS128 no problem. How have you mounted
yours? I thought of making a board to fit on the starboard side over the
sink, but making a brew becomes a pain if I forget to fill the kettle
before setting sail.

Cheque in post tomorrow for VAGB.

Regards,

Ray.
