Does the Yanmar 3gm30f have a PCV valve? If so, where is it located?

The breather has reed valves in it so yup, it does have a pcv valve in it.

Hey, thank you guys for that. This is the first time I have used this or any forum for advice. The reason I was asking about the PCV valve was that I think I have what’s called “ blow by” and my engine is smoking at 2900 rpm. The PCV valve ( I thought ) would reroute the leaky gases to the air inlet and thereby avoid smoking exhaust ( or do I have that wrong ?).
The blow by definition I got online is :
blow-by in American English
1. leakage of the air-fuel mixture or of combustion gases between a piston and the cylinder wall into the crankcase of an automobile.
I’m showing my ignorance now but how do leaky gases into the crankcase end up in the exhaust pipe?
Anyway I don’t have a PCV valve but a breather instead. Does the breather do the same think? I going to research that now. I’m really just trying to get rid of smoke in the exhaust at high revs. I’m sure it doesn’t do the engine any good.

I don’t think it’s very likely that the breather is the source of your smoke. What comes out the exhaust comes from the combustion chamber, not the crankcase directly. What color is the smoke? Does the engine burn much oil? Bluish smoke or oil consumption could suggest a poor seal around the cylinders, which could also cause excessive blow-by.

It’s grey colour to me.
still don’t know how that works. Poor cylinder head rings causes crank case oil to leak into the combustion chamber and this is combined with the products of combustion to produce a blue/ grey exhaust. ?? . But, if so, is it not the opposite of “ blow by” where combustion fuel goes from the combustion chamber into the crankcase.?
