I recently bought a 1979 O'Day 28 with this engine and found the above link while surfing. The manual is 200+ pages but very helpful to anyone having one of these engines. My apologies if this has been posted previously sometime.

Thanks for the link, GMan. I've been following the posts for a couple of years, and I think the only manual close to this was for the "B" version quite a while ago. Great engines...mine's in a '78 Annapolis 26.

I wish I new it existed a year ago, I pulled the old YSm8 and put in a new motor afer wasting a month trying to get it to run. I still have the old one and may use it some day for something. There has been a service manual posted before, but this is what was needed.
