Destiny has a Yanmar 4JH-TE (four cylinder turbo) on which the starter solenoid seems to be sticking. I have a separate starter battery, and sometimes the starter seems dead. However, the current drain when the key is turned is about 40 amps (which is correct for the 0.267 ohms of the solenoid), but there is no click. If I tap the starter with a hammer, it starts to work again. Has anybody else had a problem with this starter? I'm think of tearing it down myself...
