Has anyone found an equivalent to the Yanmar genuine part # 60567 YDA Gray marine spray paint? An official spray can of Yanmar paint costs about CDN$40 around here.

Did you try Bridgeview Marine on River Rd.?
I found that they have the best pricing on all Yanmar related products.

Yanmar is not in the paint business so it must be out there. Get a quality paint that looks close enough, nobody will ever notice the difference and all you need is the protection it affords.

Woodster, I used that same product, and tested on my Air Cleaner housing.

Not an exact match, But close enough. Once I repaint the rest of the engine, I don't think anyone will notice.

Any engine paint (high temperature tolerance) will do. I personally stay away from the hammered because 1) I don't care for the look and 2) I want a smooth finish so that oil dosn't stick in the dimples and it is easier to wipe clean. Match the original color as close as possible.

Yes the Yanmar spray paint is a custom lable made by Raabe "Precision Color". It my cost US$15 down there but here in the Great White North CANADA it is more than double that. I'm not in a panic to get one so I'll keep looking.
Thanks for all the good information.
