I need to replace the seal on my SB8 water pump. Has anyone done this? Do i need to remove the whole pump housing from the engine? There is a gasket between the pump and the engine -- does that mean i should drain the engine oil before attempting this?? Also, is there just 1 seal, or is there both a water and oil seal like on the GM series pumps? There is only 1 part number listed.
