Since the Diesel site is still down, I'll post this question here. I've got a 2GMF on my '85 H31 and have a very smally fuel leak emanating from the mechanical fuel pump. Had the same problem about 6 years ago and replaced the pump. Looks like fuel is weeping from the gasket/diaphram, and torquing down the 4 screws which connect the top and bottom of the pump (and seals the diaphram) hasn't helped. Yanmar doesn't sell a diaphram replacement, you just have to buy the pump itself (as I recall it was almost $100 the last time, but I could be way wrong). Has anyone else had a similar problem and been able to "fix" their leak w/o resorting to a total replacement of the pump? BTW, for those of you out there who are contemplating pump replacement, it is a real bear to access the 2 mounting bolts. I've got the bloody knuckles to prove it! Smooth sailing!Tim (S/V "TIDE")
