yanmar parts? - kemah, houston

Now that Blue water marine is closed where are parts available in the kemah - houston area? I'm specifically looking for raw water pump parts for a 2gmf.

yanmar online will give dealers and distributors..if all you need is an impeller--any marine store or napa should have them...see the thread on impellers in sailboat owners......

Laborde Products, they are in La. They will ship direct to you. Use them for my Yanmar here in Austin. Great service, very helpful folks.

we ordered an impeller and seal for the 2gmf which is leaking from the bottom seep hole. Torrensen replied that they had to cancel the order as yanmar does not let them sale to the houston region. go figure.

a distributor cannot sell outside if his territory--so if you want a certain distributor to sell to you, you have to either go to them or have someone from that area receive it....go figger..is a lol....

i got the same thing a while back when i ordered yanmar keys for my friends allmand ......ordered it from thorrensen marine and they had quoted the keys at 9.85 each and then resended the order because it was not there area of sale ...went to the local marine place here in ga on lanier lake .....snugg harbor i think was the place they charged 19.95 each for the same part number... so your best bet is to shop and ship with in there area if you can and have some one foward it to you......

Gulf Coast Composite Marine Specialists, Inc. in Kemah has taken on the line...even took over all of Blue Water Marines old stock. Just got an order from them. Call Brandt or Todd @ 281-334-4417, tell 'em Marc in Austin sent you. Is this the BEST website or what?!

Blackburn Marine sells to the public now as well. They are across the street from West Marine.
