Bud- I never got around to installing the buzzers or lights. I just put an elbow on top and mounted a gauge off of it so that it lays facing up. You are correct about the threads, they are 1/8" pipe threads. you can find those components at an auto parts store, as they are used for oil pressure gauges for cars. 1/8" does not mean they measure 1/8" in any way. The O.D. of the threads is closer to 1/4" or 5/16". A gauge I bought was 1/4" npt so I had to get an adapter to thread them together.
If you look in the manual you can see the exact pressure the buzzer turns off. To me it makes it pretty much useless. But I guess it would tell you if you had NO oil flowing. If your's is hooked up now just put a "T" on top and you can have your gauge right there and then hook the electric pressure sensor to that.
