My engine panel got broken where the shut off cable exits (someone either stepped on it or kicked it) Any ideas where I could get one my boat is an 84 H31 with a 2GMF engine.

if you have the panel with the tachometer, the part number for the panel face only (no gauges or lights or switches) is 128170-91010. As kd3pc says, it is pretty easy to take the old panel and make another using the old one as a pattern.. Another option is to glue the cracks back together carefully and then glue a doubler plate over the panel or behind the panel just in the place where the thing is cracked.
We moved ours to a position on the step in the companionway. This provided a much shorter cable that is also out of the weather. These cables can be ordered from Teleflex/Morse if you are interested in taking that approach.

I needed a new red stop button for my Yanmar Panel and asked Hunter Customer Service or Hunter Tech service, can't remember. They referred me to Seawardproducts.com. Those follks answered my query immediately and sent me a new button free of charge. Don't know who made your panel but give Hunter or Seawardproducts a call.

I had the same problem with the panel breaking where the kill switch exits. I moved the switch to the left of the panel into solid fg. Pulled the cable out, rethreaded it into the hole with a fender washer backing it bedded with 4200 on the inside and another on the outside bedded the same way. MUCH better. Glued the panel back together and patched a piece of black plastic over the hole. My best boat improvement this year

I had the same problem with the engine panel on my H-27. After seeing the price of the OEM replacement I decided to use white Plexiglas from an old sign to make a replacement. Used the old panel as a template and a drill and jig saw on log speeds to cut the holes for the lights, switches and gauges... Only took a few hours..... Good luck.
Thanks, since it is winter I and the price is too high I am going to build one and I am going to explore adding a solenoid instead of the cable. If I get it designed and it works I will post it.

I just completed this with the replacement plastic panel from Mack Boring cost about $30. the old stop cable was bound up. I replaced that also and backed the cable up with a large stainless fender washer so as not to rip the assemble out when shutting down. The new cable works "like butter"

I have the type b panel - do you have descriptions of the numbers.
Are the other indicators blank or do they have a purpose. We just acquired a 1984 31H and don't have much documentation.

Jorge: The panel on the H'31 was mounted on the port side on the side of the line locker. The kill switch was moved from the panel to the lid on the engine compartment. This was on my previous boat.
