Hello. Just Putting A Feeler Out. Anyone Know Where To Find A Dual 1/2" Altenator Belt Pulley For A Yanmar 4jh2e?

The alternator is the easy part. Try getting a twin crankshaft and water pump pulley!!
I've searched the world over and can't find one. Well one for less than $700.

I determined that given a 400 AH battery bank that a 50 amp alternator is just fine. That is after you consider the bulk, acceptance, and float charge issues that all banks have. you really can't get much over 50 amps into a bank for any length of time that justifies a larger alternator.

Check out the current issue of Good Old Boat for a alternator belt solution. It may not apply directly this this but its an interesting solution.

I can tell you that Yanmar doesn't advise alternators over 90 amp or that require double belts...straight from Mack Boring Inc.
