A note to you that have this or a variant, I had a coolant leak last week. It turned out to be the copper pipe running behind the fresh water pulley on the front of the engine. There are two molded hoses on either side, one from the exchanger, the other to the pump. The pipe is painted engine color. Anyhow, there is a steel loop support securing the pipe so that it will not go into the pulley. Whether or not they are dissimilar metals being a problem I don't know, but what I do know is that vibration wore away the pipe surface enough to thin it out to the point it was paper thin where the support was. The rest of the pipe is fine. For a temp repair, I just got two two-way 1 1/8 hose barbs and hose to replace the pipe.
