Welcome any comments, I have Yanmar 3gm diesel in the boat (1995) presently with no connections to the calorifier. It has a fresh water cooled heat exchanger as fitted. Calorifier has two capped off coil connections. Pipes are now in and ready to connect to engine. I don't know where to connect them. Handbook does not cover this install. Appreciate advice.

Here are two shots of the connections on my 3GMF. Top shot .. green stripe hose connects to a nipple on top of the water pump. Other hose connects to a nipple under the thermostat.. You should have plugs in those locations where you can thread in hose nipples. Water goes out from under the thermostat through the heater, then back to the suction side of the water pump.
