In quarts, what is the sump capacity for the Yanmar 3GM engine? Recently purchased a previously-owned 340 and this is my first oil change. Have all the parts and supplies, but not quite sure of the engine oil capacity.
Almost three quarts for an oil change (and filter) put in 2 1/2 and check dip stick ,top off as needed to put oil level to top line of the markings on dip stick.
