Yanmar 2GM20F Zincs

I need some help. Does the Yanmar 2GM20F have zinc anodes in the head and block? In checking parts sites there is no listing for zincs for this engine.

The F stands for fresh water cooled and fresh water cooled does not have zincs but your prop shaft does need zincs on it. nick

Shaft zincs

If it's like the 29.5, your shaft has so little space between the cutlass bearing and prop that you'll have to saw off a quarter-inch of the zinc to fit. Which is okay, but don't try it underwater.
