Yanmar 2gm20f heat exchanger

I just want to know how to reinstall the core on my heat exchanger. One side has two holes, on the shroud, and the other only has one. I just want to know which side goes towards the front of the engine, the side with two holes or one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
