My fuel injection pump shims got destroyed when removing the pump. I have not been able to find replacements. Does anyone know of a source? TOAD doesn't list them.

Teaching you how to fish here. Click Home. Click Owner Resources -> General Downloads -> Scroll down to your engine. Look for the Parts List or Parts Catalog. Open the PDF. Hit Ctrl+F on the keyboard to find text. Search for shim within the PDF. Make sure you've located the correct engine model. Copy the part number. Paste it into Google preceded by "Yanmar". Voila!

Note that the shims are added or subtracted in order to set the timing of the injection pump. The procedure for selecting the correct ones is in the workshop manual ..
