Yanmar 2gm20f build year

I have a 2gm20f # 14713.
Can anyone tell me the manufacture year? I believe it is 1995.

I have a 1990 Hunter 33.5 with an original Yanmar 2GM20F engine and the ser. No. is 24231.

So, I believe that one with Ser. No 14713 would be a lot older than that. My hull was #191,but that engine was probably used in 27 FT thru 33 FT then.

My 2GM20F(YEU) is Year 2002 # E08686. So my engine serial number seems to throw a spanner in the works.

The "E" means it is an engine that was assembled in Europe .. probably not in sequence with the other Yanmar numbers..

I have a 1996 H280 with the 2gm20f yanmar.....serial # 24554.

I have a 2004 with number E09938. No idea where it was assembled but boat was first registered in California.

Not sure which engine that boat would have been delivered with? It appears that the first GM models were mfg starting in 1980.
