I picked up a replacement today. would anyone care to share whether this R&R is a relatively easy task or not?

Not hard but tedious.. Make sure ya have all the new necessary copper washers for the banjo fittings on the fuel lines.

Agree with kloudie. If you have your washers it's pretty straight forward.

Cramped space area makes it tedious as Kloudie says. DO shut off the fuel valve at the tank before you start !

Just did mine this past spring, easy job but can be hard to see what your doing. I own a bore scope which came in very handy to verify the gasket didn't slip and to ensure the cooper washers stayed put during assembly. Very handy tool for working and finding things in tight spaces.

Thanks for your comments. About the simplest repairs I have yet to perform. My first yanmar motor having an Westerbeke and Volvo prior.
