Yanmar 1GM Water in Oil??

looking at the seawater pump assembly and the way it is driven off the end of the cam shaft we suspect that both the water and oil seals had dried up and water was allowed to pass thru the assembly into the crankcase.

Before water reached the oil seal, it should have been dripping out of the weep hole. Did you ever notice any dripping water from the pump?
