Does anyone have a service manual for a Yanmar 18 they would like to sell or do you know where I coud buy one? Need it soon to break in a new engine.Thanks

Service manuals

Service Manuals are available from your local Dealer. They should run about $40.00. It doesn't give much info on care and feeding of your engine. What questions do you have about break in?Here are my general rules, Never allow the engine to run a constant rpm for extended periods of time, more then 10 min. Run the engine for a hard pull to full throtle for a run of 5 min per hour.Do this for the first 25 hours then change the oil and filter.Also change the trans oil at 25 hours.Pat McCartinInland Marine DieselAtlanta, GA
