We have a YS steering system on our boat which, also, needed some replacement parts. After doing some research I found out that Edson had bought the assets of YS when they went out of business. I checked with Edson regarding replacement parts without any success. Edson was selling YS parts inventory until depleted and was not making any new parts. They did not have the part we were looking for and to try to rig up something with Edson parts was going to cost more than buying a new Edson system (probably the reason Edson doesn't make the YS parts). Anyway, we went to a machine shop and had a new part fabricated. Edson people I talked to were very helpful and informative so you should try them first - you may get lucky.
