Y-Valve Elimination

Last year I had the overboard discharge eliminated. I am now replacing the sanitation hoses and eliminating the Y-valve. The Y-valve is mounted a couple of feet higher than the head outlet. My question is: How high should the hose from the head to the holding tank be routed near the head end? Do I need to keep it as high as the Y-value location? (Note this is for a Sabre 28. I hope that posting this message here is OK.)

It would be a very good idea if...

you arch the head discharge hose high enough to prevent tank contents from getting back over the top of it when you're heeled. You should be able to take it from there. :) Sabres are nice boats, btw...
