I'm installing a new Xantrex Truecharge 20 and remote panel in my Cal 28-2. In the process of "fishing" the remote cable through the boat to the charger, the modular plug on the end of the cable got hung up in between the hull and the cabin interior. It won't go forward or back out. I had to cut the cable to get it out and then finish fishing it through. I have modular crimpers and connectors, and I can put a new connector on the end of the cable. The question is what is the color to pin mapping? I want to be sure I get it right. I don't know if this is a standard 4 wire phone cable or if Xantrex used some unusual color/pin mapping. I asked them the question via their tech support email, they responded with a case number but, to date, no answer (after 3 days). If anyone has one of these setups and could get back to me with the color/pin mapping I'd be very grateful. This is a really stupid setup. They solder one end of the cable to the circuit board and install the connector on the other end. This makes it virtually impossible to install the thing if you have to go any distance through the boat's structure. They really need to do this a little differently.-Smitty
