Xantrex inverter/charger controller

My Xantrex "Link 1000" was in my boat when I bought it. It is designed to show me battery condition and energy consumption on one battery, however the instruction book says it will show me the voltage (only) of a second battery. Unfortunately, the instuction book doesn't tell you how this will be displayed. When I toggle through the choices using the "SEL" button, I get two voltage readings -- one steady and one flashing. Does anyone know which of these is the second battery voltage?

2nd battery bank

The flashing voltage light indicates the voltage for the 2nd battery bank (which is my starting battery in my configuration).

That's what I thought, but the instruction book was written by an electrical engineer. A great unit, though. Happy sailing.
