Wrench for water/waste tank inspection plug, "+" shaped

Is there a source for the "+" shape wrench that fits the plastic access bungs in
the aft water tank and also the waist tanks? Or do we just build one that
works. See attached photos; red disk with + shape face is the inspection plug.

Last season I had a fresh water leak in the aft tank inspection plug; only a
problem when the tank was full; used a galley pot handle in the + slots to get a
fresh seal. Marking the original position and the new position, I managed to
get a 3/8 inch additional clockwise rotation to re-make the seal. The pot
handle was not a good fit however.

Just asking.

I asked my Beneteau service guy, and he only replied to "make do" with whatever you can. I took a 14 inch piece of 1 x 2, started a cut in the middle from each end. I left enough to fit down into the X and the 1 x 2 looks something like a spokesheeve or draw knife. Hey- where has ROSS BEEN? Make it longer than 14 inches, and you can get better leverage.

Yeah, the bung wrench is what I had in mind if I were going to purchase one.

But if it were me; A piece of stainless flat bar, about 1 1/2" wide, maybe 2", and 1/4" thick, and as long as "practical". Drill two 3/8" holes in it on the outreaches of the hole, insert two 3/8" bolts in them with nuts on the bottom to keep them there. Wrench/Spanner/Handheld/Air cooled/Cordless. Done.

10,000 years from now, when some archaeologist unearths it, they try forever to figure out what it did..

The X on the tanks is about 3/4 inch wide, 4.75 long if i recall. I'll be home for the weekend and will try to take a picture of mine. It's so simple to make.

Open a ten-inch adjustable wrench fully and insert the head in the bung jaws down. The handle will have enough leverage to open the bung when you turn it laterally.

The plugs on my tanks are a different design but I just put the rubber ends of a pair of channelocks in and twist.
