Looking at maybe buying a 1987 hunter legend. Do these boats have cored hulls? How do they sail? I really like the layout below and nice lines of the hull.Any information on this boat would help in my decision.
David, I suggest you go to Hunterowners front page. On the bottom left corner click on " The Boats". On the following page, click on the left side, in the blue portion, on the 37, than on Hunter 37 owner reviews. For this model there are about 10 reviews. I think that this could be a good start. I just bought an 89 Legend 37, love it! Just got a PHRF rating of 139, small jib, no spinnaker (yet), fixed prop, but have not raced her yet to see if she lives up to this rating. She sails well, and cruises great. We looked at a lot of boats and became convinced the Legend 37 was the way to go. I am in the owner's directory.
