Yesterday afternoon after wrapping up things at home I decided to go to the boat. No one was willing to go with me... The weather forecast was for temp in the high 80's with NO wind... So I decided go anyway and knock-out a few projects on the the boat. I arrived at the boat, dragged tools to the boat, look around and realized, hey the wind is blowing 10-15 out of the south... I am now faced with the age old question: "Boat Project Or Go Sailing?"

no matter what you do, at least your doing it at the boat:D.... but when ever I caught in such an abundance of indecision like that, I stretch out in the cabin and take a nap while i figured it out;)

I guess it depends on what the projects were... I mean, a bad leak below the waterline should probably be addressed...

Looks like you made a good decision, though...

That was the right choice but I need to rest now after watching that.

Let's look at the logic. We work on the boats so we can go sailing. Either task can be postponed. Sailing is clearly the primary objective so if we are at the boat and the conditions are good it is the right choice to go sailing. Working on the boat can be postponed. I have always strive to maintain the boat to be ready to go at a moments notice. Any project that may tie the boat to the dock gets full priority and a surge of effort to get it completed. All other projects are secondary to the sailing whim.

This was the first time I had used my GOPRO to shoot “time lapse” pictures. I set the camera to snap a picture every 5 seconds and this is the result of an hour and a half of sailing and motoring. I too was struck by how much I moved around on the boat, making the video that much funnier.

As a child, I was constantly in trouble for not sitting still in school and at other times… It appears 50+ years later I have not out grown this behavior. :)

I hope this brought a smile to those that watched it.

The weather is conducive to projects more often than is conducive to sailing. You choose well. BTW, I'm at HHN, too. Thanks for the video.
