How do I remove a wooden headliner from a sailboat. It was glued in place in 1966. Maybe a heat gun?

Heat gun would be a good place to start but you are more likely to take the finish off the wood headliner than remove it from the cabin. It is probably worth a shot though as if you got only a few pieces to come up you would then have access to the back side of the headliner wood.
