I AM LOOKING FOR A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR MY 1973 ODAY22.I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE NEGATIVE GROUND ANY-WHERE.IF YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A COPY OF THE OWNERS MANUAL IT'LL BE GREAT.THANK YOU
Mark,I'm trying for the manuals, see my other posts on the subject. As far as the ground, it is likely to be the the color that is the same at all the fixtures. The colors of the hot wires likely varry to allow you to trace from the panel to the fixture, while the grounds are common and so are often one color.Justin - O'day Owner's Web
I purchased a manual for my 1973 22 from DR marine. It had 4 pages (copied) and cost $6. No information on the electrical system at all. However the elec. system is fairly simple. Locate your battery and look for the post that has a - sign, that will be the negetive side. If there isnt a battery, follow any 2 wires from a light and one wire will go to a fuse (normally the Positive side) and the other wire goes to the negitive side. Hope this helps.
