I have green-stripe black sanitation hose and have a blockage on the overboard section from the y-valve that has resisted attempts to identify and clear. Because the OB discharge is used so seldom, it is nearly blocked from crystalization anyway, so I have elected to just take the whole thing apart and replace the green-stripe with white sanitation hose for the reason that it is much easier to install with a little heat and some soap. My question concerns removing the green-stripe. Does heating it also make removal easier? I tried one section and it didn't seem to make much difference. I assume the hose has taken a solid set over the nipple. Maybe I should just cut it up and wrassle it off elsewhere? Any hints from you who have been there? Anyadvice appreciated. Rick Dinon
