I'm considering a wire furler. That will let me use all my current sails and remove the sail when I'm away for extended periods. Does anyone have any experience using a wire furler? What do you use? The harken furler kit is outrageously priced. Over $500 for less than 1 lb of material. It would appear the furler kits for some of the smaller boats would be more than adequate for the 26s. Standard head stay was only 1/8".
