Don is right. 3 things to remember: 1) do change the oil shortly before you get her out of the water. That way you can get the engine warmed up for an easy change. 2) Do check the engine coolant and adjust it for temperature drops expected in Waukegan 3) Once out of the water, get someone to collect water from the exhaust in a 5-gallon pail. Most people shut off the engine when it starts changing color thinking it is winterized. Using your tester, check that too and keep adding antifreeze until you're satisfied that the heat exchanger, muffler and hoses are well protected.
FYI, it helps if you have 2 friends: one to start & kill the engine when needed and the other one to hold the pail under the exhaust outlet. 2 ways to do it. Disconnect the intake hose at the through-hull and put it in a bucket full of antifreeze mix. Or shut off the through-hull, open-up the strainer (that will also give you a chance to clean it) and pour antifreeze in it when engine is started. If You do that, fill the strainer before starting engine. You do not want to run the impeller dry more than a few seconds.) good luck
