We have a 12,000 btu Mermaid AC in our O'Day 272. Prior to this I have had our club
Property Manager winterize the AC....so far it has always happened when I was not there to see
how he did it.....This winter I've asked Santa for an air compressor (portable 110 v) that I can use to blow out the lines in the AC....The boat is currently on a cradle but I have power and can use a
110 air compressor w/ the correct fitting and blow out the hoses, compressor, etc.....I also could winterize it I suppose w/antifreeze. Here is my simple question; which way do you winterize your AC? Air compressor blowing out lines or turn it on and suck antifreeze thru it?
Thank you for your always helpful advice. 'Patrick on the Plains'
