Winterizing Seacocks

What method do yo use to winterize seacocks for a boat which is being bubbled? I attach a shop vac to the hose connected to the seacock and blow air through the hose and seacock and close the seacock while the air is still flowing. Be careful not to hold the vac too tight on the hose since you don't want to blow off the hose from the seacock.. Any other tricks out there?

I use pink stuff

I run pink stuff down the hose with a long spouted funnel, seacock closed. I slightly open the seacock briefly, letting the pink stuff in the hose fill the seacock's internal cavities. I then reattach the hose, making sure some pink stuff is still in the hose. This fills the internal cavities of the seacock with pink stuff good to -50 degrees.
