Help. When winterizing I poured antifreeze everywhere except the bilge. We had one frost. Am I in trouble? THe boat is a distance. Do I need to do an emergency run? I have a float switch which keeps it fairly empty.

Winterizing

Mike, I too am reflecting on all of my winterizing steps as my first year with the new boat. If you've only had a frost and not a deep freeze, everything is probably fine. I'd make the drive and dump some anti-freeze in the bilge, otherwise you'll be losing sleep all winter. I believe you are a fellow OD 27 owner. If so, the "bilge" has two compartments that need to be tended to. The section under the cabin sole is obvious, but there is also a section just forward of the inboard that can be accessed through a small hole between the bulkhead and the motor. Good luck, Dan
