Unfortunately, I waited a little too long to winterize a M18 engine in my catalina 30. I went out the boat today and tried to start the engine.
It was cold (around 35-40 degrees) and the engine did not start but it turned over. I tried quick charging them to no avail. The manual provides for winterization by draining the fresh water lines. I did loosen the heat exchanger plate as well as the pump plate. I took off all the lines leading to the heat exchanger and drained the muffler as best I could. Is there anything that I missed? It will be stored at the east end of Long Island and I am afraid of freezing in some areas that did not drain.
