The time has come, the season is over. The boat is hauled and on the hard for the winter. For the last few seasons I have had the yard do the winterizing of the engine while I do all of the other systems. This year I have decided to do my own engine work. I have already changed the oil and filter (while the boat was still in the water) now it is time to do the cooling system. I have already purchased the pink stuff and I know how to winterize the cooling system. The question is what else do I need to do to the engine. I have read about some who inject oil into the cylinders and cover the air intake. Besides the cooling system, changing the oil and filter and topping of the diesel tank what else should be done.
