I’m doing my first winter living on a 373. I have all my systems ready for cold except for wash down. It looks like it might come through the toilet intake seacock but there is no shut off independent of head that I see. Any information would help.

If you are living on the boat, there is no need to winterize any lines unless they are completely outside. No mention of how cold it gets where you are ?

Open at the lowest fitting and drain completely. I presume you're referring to the wash down line ?

You don't want to just shut it off. You want to drain the water from it. Water freezing to ice does the damage.

Yeah it’s just draining the wash down that I’m worried about. Thanks!

I take the hose off the thru hull fitting and put it in a bucket. I first flush with fresh water to get salt out of the pump, then add antifreeze to pickle the pump and lines so they dont freeze.

Good Luck!
