Winter painting topsides

Hi am a newbie, sorta, have had "Panope" our 27foot bilge keeler sloop since 2002. Have since repaired her cabin, deck and topside , replaced toerail. She originally was a schooner.
Previous owners left mast on lawn, then put it back on only to demast. Other weird stuff which we have replaced was he built all interior joinmery using particle board (biscuit board)

in process of painting her, trying to get her back in the water before winter sets in properly, We live in the southern hemisphere so winter is fast approaching.
did a fair job of putting brightside enamel on her topside using brush. (Starboard) only to have the dew wipe the gloss off her completely the next day

am wondering is it possible to paint her topsides, choosing the day/s extremly carefully, and wipe her sides down with towels, then paint as early as possible in the morning?

she has been on the hard for 2 years now and am getting very anxious. re her planking opening up. she is double diagonal kauri ply wooden boat. (glassed over)

oh yeah dont have access to huge tarps/tents/sheds

any tips most welcome

I got stuck for two months waiting for a weather window to open for painting during this past winter to spring. I feel your pain.

I would just find the right weather window and get an early start in the morning with the paint, using a quick hardener if the wood separating is a real issue. Get her in an open area so she gets as much sun as possible to speed up the paint drying.

***yeah, but with a 4 ton boat sitting on wooden blocks, in bottom of yard, sun only strikes one side for very short time. unable to position anywhere else....

*** Thanks sure hope i can get my topsides done... do you know just how much time i need in 15 deg cel to get her so dew wont affect her. like sundown is 5.15pm then what is latest time, i can finish painting with brightside enamel. (one pot)
