For those who put their OD 28 on the hard with the mast up: There is a bolt which is installed through the mast inside the salon at the through-deck fitting. Is it necessary to pull this bolt so as not to stress the shrouds and stays when the keel takes the load of the boat in a cradle or in jack stands. Does it do any harm to leave the bolt in during winter lay up or must it be removed?
