Just a bald eagle and myself in Halkett Bay this morning with this sunny weekend
Snow is hard right now on the slopes and the weather warm enough. The espar makes it like home in the cabin. Not like Mexico but skiing is better. I left on ahigh tide and a skim of ice from the creek early in the morning from my slip to the channel. Antifouling took it well as boat is light on gear and tanks low so floats high.
Thanks to the auto type on my handheld for this would be too much pecking.

Vancouver was in fog and it tried to spill into Howe Sound, at Horseshoe Bay. A fog waterfall formed at Latona Passage, as it spilled in near Port Mellon. No dolphins yet, the herring are due this winter and the salmon, seal and fishers will be out. 3 sailboats out and a few motor boats hunting salmon. 24 knot winds and enough heeling to remind me to fix the head. Warm enough to enjoy the breeze and tack all the way home. The old Autohelm depthsounder going nutty reading thermoclines at 140 ft in 500 ft of water. The water was so clear I could see over 30 ft to the bottom.
Fresh snow for Whistler next week.....

Ericson 32 Oregon coast
Stretch, we're having the longest run of sunny days

that I have ever seen in January here on the Oregon coast although it is also colder than average for this time of year.
