We just bought a 1996 Hunter 29.5 and would like a canvas cover for her. Any suggestions on where to buy it or does it need to be custom made?

Got you covered

I suggest you avoid canvas because it's way too heavy. A typical blue plastic tarp is way too thin. The best alternative I've found is Too-Tuff plastic out of New Jersey. It takes one small tarp to cover the bow from the mast forward, and a larger one from the mast to the stern. I cut a new set every spring and it lasts all year. For details, email me at editor@vagazette.com.

Custom

I recently sold my 29.5 but if you check the two places they have owner photos here ..."photo forum" and maybe owner photos, I cannot remember, but I posted pictures of SEA SHEL, a 29.5 wearing her custom made winter cover. if no luck email me at hunter@usinternet.com and maybe I can find them again.
