Sadly the time is drawing near to start thinking about winterizing. I will be storing my 33.5 on the hard this year and was wondering if anyone has a blocking plan that I can provide the boatyard where I will be storing my boat. I left the boat in the water last year but need to pull this year to paint and do some deck delamination work. Any blocking tips and information is greatly appreciated.

Your boatyard will no doubt know exactly where to place the jack stands. One set at the wides part of the hull and below the waterline mark. One set each half way between the midships set and bow and stern. You could also use a V shaped bow support but that is not essential. These jacks are only used to keep the boat upright, the main load of the boat is carried by the keel sitting on its support. It is however essential that these sets of jacks be chained together in sets of two to prevent the jacks from spreading apart which would lead to a disaster. If the ground is plain dirt (not concrete) then wood planks should be used below each leg of the jacks.
