Winlass dismantle procedure?

I have a Simpson-Lawrence Atlantic Anchorman Sprint 900 windlass on my 2004 Hunter 36 and it does not free fall when the clutch is loose. The manual recomends to dismantle, clean and lube once a year but does not say how. I don't want to force and break it. Does anyone have instructions on how to dismantle the above deck parts?
