Windy day on the mooring

This was last sunday on the mooring, Rough and windy day! And a wild and wet dinghy ride back to shore.

Chet, are you moored just outside of Tidewater? Hope your scuppers weren't clogged! I like the "shades" over your ports. Did you make those or buy them? Do you have some close ups of them? Manny

yeah

I`m at tidewater. First weekend out, and it was crazy getting onto my dinghy and alittle wild riding back to shore. The shades... I made out of 1/4 inch Acrylic Plexiglass. I just took off the old trim rings and glued these on in place. I don`t have any other picture of them yet. Everything that you can see on my boat I made, The davit system was made last summer, and the swim platform which I folded up cause it was so rough. But the shades were something I`ve been wanted to do, I`ve looked everywhere and couldn`t seem to find any for the ( grays ).so I made my own. Chet.

That's good reason..

That photo gives good reason to never keep your anchor on the bow roller....!! Can you say up and down, up and down, up and down, "slice through the pendants" ...??

Thats why

My claw anchor is setting up on the deck . The line wasn`t rubbing the plow anchor. But thanks for your in put on it. Chet.
